WHAT SETS US APART?

At Orchard del Sol you will find our process simple. We produce a rich, all-natural, complete food, nothing added nothing taken away. After the drying and hulling, the beans are lightly roasted. Next comes the grinding of the nibs which we mold for exporting. A cold grind produces the pure cocoa  that is "Uniquely Ours 100% Pure Cocoa Powder" and which is the base for our 80% Dark Chocolate.

Joanne, our chocolatier is handcrafting an 80% Dark Chocolate sweetened with organic cane sugar.  Along with just the plain 80% bar you will find she has incorporated bits of organic ginger, hibiscus, cranberry or another favorite, coffee beans into her varieties.   These bars are popular with those looking to accent a good meal or a glass of red wine.

Processed at Orchard del Sol, All Natural, Nothing Added Nothing Taken Away.  Rich in flavor and nutrients.  Our process is simple.  We roast and grind the bean without extraction of the cocoa butter.  This is a whole food, mood elevating, rich in antioxidants and minerals.  Use as a coffee substitute or an anytime pick me up. Cocoa is low in caffeine.  As a whole food it carries natural properties that make it a great energy drink.  We added the warm spices of cinnamon and cardamon to make our popular Spiced Cocoa (no sugar added).  A great way to start your morning.
